Fired up for the Fourth

There’s no shortage of great ways to celebrate America’s Independence. So while you are firing up the grill and gathering with friends, don’t forget to include an all-American photo booth. One way to get creative and ensure a good time is to set up a patriotic back drop and snap away. Go ahead and put your best face forward and show off your star spangled colors. Spring is in the Air

As spring eases its way into summer, the “May flowers” theme pays homage to rebirth, color, and happiness. Blooms abound in even the coldest climates at this time of year, provided you’re in the northern hemisphere, of course. Make a spring-flowers-themed photo backdrop and spread the joy, with a helpful tutorial available at Design Sponge that shows how to make giant paper flowers. They’ll help put some spring of your own in the air! A colorful floral backdrop will make for a nice addition to any garden party or springtime soirée.

April Showers

April showers bring May flowers and help to continue the spring cycle of renewal. Everything is new and fresh and the saying is a reminder that after something unpleasant can come something enjoyable. Make the most of this beautiful time of year with your very own April Showers inspired photo booth.
Create your own rainstorm with colorful raindrop garland. Add some balloons for clouds and silver tinsel for rain and you’ve got a dazzling backdrop on your hands. Don’t forget to pack your umbrella!

King of Mardi Gras

Let the good times roll with a classic Mardi Gras themed party and photo booth. Today’s parties are nothing like the original celebrations. America’s first Mardi Gras was celebrated in 1703 by the tiny settlement of Fort Louis de la Mobile (Mobile, LA). The most famous parties are held in New Orleans, LA but Mardi Gras is also celebrated in several cities in Europe too.
Make your own fun by kicking up your heels and throwing on a gold mask and plenty of beads. Or glitz and glam it up and smile big for the camera. Add a feather mask and feather boa for an instant bash with friends. Better yet, plan a themed date night New Orleans style and pull out all the stops.

Shades of Ombre

Ombre can be seen everywhere from hair to nails to party themes. Meaning “having colors or tones that shade into each other,” an ombre backdrop can super charge your event with bursts of blended color. Make a craft day of it by rounding up some fabric and spend some time dyeing them various shades of the same color. Or keep it simple by forming crepe paper into twisty strands that will make your guests ooh and aah. A little goes a long way with multicolored papers, balloons or feather boas for your very own do-it-yourself photo booth.
